#1 Greatest Accomplishment You Can Achieve in Your 20's
Life is constantly moving and changing — stay true to yourself and who you are
--
“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.”
― Ralph Waldo Emerson
I absolutely love when people are unique, genuine, and themselves. Yes life can be difficult and it can change and break people, but staying true to yourself, true to your core values, and being who you are in any situation is the real talent.
What you see is what you get — no hidden agenda. It is so refreshing when you can be around people that don’t change in any given situation, it lets you be you, and it gives everyone the environment where anybody can be themselves.
Be Vulnerable
Let yourself feel all the feelings, let emotions be a part of your life.
Nowadays, people hide behind closed doors and cry when they are alone, I do that too sometimes. For me, it is a part of how I was raised, we weren't allowed to feel, to show that something has affected us, or show any troubles we have. And that is so wrong, it messes with you on another level.
There is this stigma that it is a sign of weakness to be crying or to show that you care. But honestly, the world needs more people that are vulnerable enough that they say what they think and feel, and they show affection and emotions.
Be Unique
Social media has us all in this loop, where we see the same thing day in and day out, people copy each other and there is no uniqueness in that. Being yourself, being unique, doing what you love and what you want to do, dressing like you don’t care, and speaking your mind out loud, is such a great and refreshing thing.
Allow yourself to fail, and fail over and over until you find what actually sparks your fire. Do things your way, be yourself, and be in charge of your life. Take matters into your own hands and be the one-of-a-kind I know you can be.
